Bakhsh Group

Type: Black metal business card

Thickness: 300 micron

The logo and text on this card is chemically milled away from the surface. Once the matt finish has been etched away the lighter steel beneath is exposed, ensuring perfect contrast and legibility. The cut-throughs are achieved by etching into the same position on the front and back of the stainless steel, until the two areas meet, forming a hole.

Orange Spritz

Type: Acrylic business card

As well as laser etching and cutting, we hand print contact details and spot-colour logos onto the Perspex® using a range of vegetable-based pigment and metallic inks. This examples demonstrates our fluorescent lava orange acrylic that has been custom shaped by laser. Our artisan printers have then hot foiled black ink onto the card’s surface.

OK Media

TypeTranslucent plastic business card

Thickness: 760 micron

The OK Media business card showcases our ability to print to the very edge of all four sides of the card. Most automated processes rely on clamping the card in place while being printed, ruling out designs that bleed off the edge of the card. The bespoke, handcrafted nature of our printing process does away with clamps, allowing us to reproduce designs like this one.

This card has also had an additional metallic gold foil applied to the front of the card, adding a level of richness and quality to the design

Made Holdings, LLC

TypeMetal business card

Thickness: 400 micron

Made Holdings metal business card is manufactured using 400 micron thick stainless steel. While the material itself is thinner than a standard plastic credit card, the use of steel provides much more rigidity and heft. If held between the thumb and forefinger, it’s not possible to flex our 400 micron steel business cards.

Panshard

TypeLetterpress Business Card

Thickness: 900gsm

Each letterpress card is painstakingly handcrafted using traditional artisanal techniques. We first etch the artwork into a metal block. We then use this to gently embed each ink, one at a time, into the surface of the stock. This gives a uniquely visual and tactile interest to the business card quite unlike that found in any other sort of production technique.

Jensen's Woodworks

Type: Wood business card

Species: Finnish Birch

To guarantee the robust structural integrity of our cards, we employ a meticulous three-layer construction. The outer surfaces boast authentic wood veneer, lending an elegant and natural touch. Meanwhile, the core is reinforced with high-density fiberboard, effectively eliminating any vulnerability along the grain. This fortification not only enhances durability but also empowers us to craft intricate patterns with unwavering confidence in their resilience.

Francho Florists

Type: Satin plastic business card

Thickness: 760 micron

Each satin business card comes with a luxurious matt finish to its surface. Many of our competitors have chosen to automate the printing process. To do so, the blank plastic card has to be gripped on at least two sides as it passes through their automated printing equipment. This prevents them from printing to the edge of the card. Our choice to avoid automation means we can run rings around the limitations of more automated suppliers, including printing to the very edge if required.

Type: Matt Laminate Card

Thickness: 400gsm

The background image on this card has been digitally printed on our 400gsm ultra white stock. We applied a thin layer of matt finish plastic to the front and back surfaces. This matt lamination gives the card a unique texture while offering protection against discolouration and fading. Using our optional foiling process we have then carefully laid a striking metallic gold ink onto each card for the logo.
