At the forefront of our sustainable offerings are our biodegradable translucent plastic cards, made from SicoEco. This unique plastic is infused with a significant amount of sea salt and an additive that accelerates its degradation. These cards decompose rapidly when exposed to microbes typically found in landfills or compost bins, eliminating the need for specialized composting facilities. Moreover, they can be printed using our vegetable-based color inks, making them an ideal choice for environmentally conscious businesses.
For customers looking for a digitally printed option, our full-color plastic alternative made from TESLIN® biodegradable substrate is an excellent choice. TESLIN® disintegrates in oxygen-depleted environments like landfills while retaining the durability and strength of traditional PVC plastics, offering a robust yet eco-friendly solution.
Our paper letterpress cards are crafted from genuine Colorplan paper, which is fully recyclable and biodegradable. Colorplan paper is FSC certified, ensuring that the wood pulp is sourced from sustainably managed forests. Additionally, we use biodegradable bonding adhesive, foils, and inks in the production of these cards. The FSC certification also applies to our matt laminated paper cards, further emphasizing our commitment to sustainability.
The veneer and fiberboard core of our wooden business cards come from managed forests, making them fully biodegradable and compostable. We use a laser etching process instead of ink printing, avoiding harmful chemicals entirely. The bamboo used in these cards is one of the most sustainable wood sources, reaching maturity in just 3-4 months and requiring no chemicals or synthetic pesticides for harvesting.
All of our business cards are shipped in recycled cardboard boxes and sealed in degradable and recyclable bags.
